Boozhy Letters: An Open Letter To Jamba Juice

Dear Mr. Jamba Juice,

First, I would like to congratulate you on your excellent product and thank you for opening a store in my neighborhood.  I can’t fully remember what my life was like in 2004, before Jamba Juice existed in Chelsea, but suffice it to say that it was a very dark period. 

Mr. Juice, upon your grand opening I entered into a period I like to call my “flava days.”  Days when I experimented with all of the delicious different smoothies and juices you offer.  My “flava days” were a bright and exciting time for me, full of discovery. But, after sampling all the delicious smoothies I settled on one that was (in my opinion) head and shoulders above the others in the flava department.  The one and only, uber delicioso Cranberry Craze.  Even, as I type this my mouth waters for an original Cranberry Craze with the free immunity boost.   

But, I write this letter with a heavy heart Mr. Juice, you see 3 short days ago David, in your 23/8 Manhattan location informed me that my drink was to be discontinued!  “Discontinued?”  I stammered when confronted with the news. David said the California audience has a different palate and they don’t drink Cranberry Craze’s and as a result you were exorcising it from your menu. Murdering it, if you will. 

Mr. Juice, I PLEAD with you to let the Cranberry Craze LIVE!  I have not had enough time to spend with him.  I love him.  He is my north, my south, my east, my west.  I urge you to hold an emergency meeting with all the important people in the Jamba Juice offices in order to save Cranberry Craze, I will do my part and spark a national letter writing campaign.  Please don’t let Cranberry Craze die.  PLEASE!!!

I don't see why they couldn't continue to make your Cranberry Craze without it being on the menu, especially if you go to the same Jamba Juice all the time. Have your tried the Orange Dream Machine? :)

Silly boy -- even if they discontinue it, they still have all the stuff to make it. Next time you go in ask for one of the "discontinued" chocolate and strawberry drinks (it use to be called choc covered strawberry moo or something like that).

They'll make it for you. At least the one on University does.
