Boozhy Headlines: Gangbang(ers) 1; Gays 0
Chicago Sun Times broke a story on Monday citing the growing trend of gangs in the US military. Latin Kings, Vice Lords and others are flashin' signs and tagging barricades, tanks, guns, etc. And why are The Gang Disciples with their 6 pointed star joining the military? Well, I'll give you a hint... It's totally not to escape gang life. According to Scott Barfield, a Dep't. of Defense gang detective at Ft. Lewis in Washington, of 320 id'd gang members only 2 said they joined to rid themselves of gang life. It's like a regular Boyz in the Hood (and by "Hood" we mean Iraq).
Det. Barfield stated that gang members are joining to learn urban warfare techniques which they can teach to other gang members when they return home. And what is the military doing about this? I'll give you another hint, absolutely nothing. Barfield states that the military has significantly lowered their standards in order to fill the rolls. Recruiters have been told to ignore gang tatoos and can easily receive wavers for criminal records.
Right, so the gays can't be out in the military, but gangsters can? That's fucked up. Me? I'd prefer a hot gay marine (if you're a gay marine and reading this, totally call me!) over a gang banger, trained by the US military, who would just as soon kill me as not.
The only problem with Marines is that they are ALL Bottoms! You'd be better off with a Sailor or Soldier.

OK well, since Juan doesn't seem to have any inclination to address what are clearly more than one interested reader of this blog I'll do it for him. I must say however, that I would have hoped that for someone who has made claim of how important his readers are to him Juan would have treated them a bit better by responding to their questions especially given the fact that a number of them have wondered why I'm not contributing to the blog after all the hoopla that Juan attached to my joining it.
For the record I've withdrawn my participation from Boozhy due to philosophical differences that arose between Juan and me but I continue to be a reader of the blog (obviously).

Scott, how can we find out if you are writing somewhere or starting up your own blog? This routine is getting old: going to Boozhy to look for your posts and wading through and not finding any from you. Write somewhere, please.
