In a coloring book for altar boys titled "Being Friends, Being Safe, Being Catholic" published by the Archdiocese of New York, the Church addresses molestation by having an Angel tell a disrobing child not to be alone with his Priest ("for safety's sake"). Has it really come to this???

Change is good
Sad it is, but I would give exactly the same advice to my own child, so I don't find it surprising.
Clearly one can't expect much effective preventative action from the US bishops with regard to protection of children.
