I'm prepping myself (and by prepping I totally mean exercising my eye roll and pre-praying to Jesus to keep me from breaking my television by throwing the remote at it) for a full day of Joe the Plumber in today's news cycle. And honestly candidates, why did you arbitrarily choose a homely inconsequential man to throw the news media off of the scent of the fact that you did little to outline your first 100 days or explain where this Country would be in four years under your thumb help illustrate your understanding of middle class economics? Wouldn't it have been just as easy to arbitrarily choose a really attractive man, like, I don't know, Ben Cohen the Plumber? Now that's a news cycle I wouldn't have minded. For realz.
