Boozhy Quotes: Chocolate Wars

In wake of reports that the US has abandoned all confidence in Pakistan's attempt to assist in the global war on terror, and is attempting unilateral strikes on Pakistan's tribal areas to combat Al Qaeda, crazy Pakistani leader Musharraf had the following to say:

"Pakistani troops can do better in FATA...  I know these areas, and I know American troops.  This is not easy."  Musharraf went on to say that Pakastani troops were tougher and could go on "roti (bread) and water", while US troops would need "chocolate."

Hated by his own people and now dismissed by the US government, Boozhy thinks that Musharraf is going for broke.  The man is digging his own grave.  I say, dig faster.

Boozhy Quotes: Frightening Failure to Learn from History

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.  That is easy.  All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifist for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.  It works the same in any country."

-Hermann Goering, Nuremberg Trials, April 18, 1946.

Boozhy Cliff Notes #1: Fatty Fatty Two By Four

The scandals are coming fast and furious these days, and to be perfectly honest, I gots a job and a life so I don't have time to be spending tons of time blogging every funny scandal that happens across my news ticker.  I've developed a new column called Boozhy Cliff Notes to save me some time.

Cliff Notes to John Kerry Scandal:  John Kerry flubs a joke in a speech to University students in California.  The intended joke came across as an insult to troops serving in the debaucle of the Middle East.  The White House slams Kerry and Democrats because they are insulting troops.  Kerry fights back by calling Rush Limbaugh a fat cow.  God, I love politics :-)

Boozhy Quotes: Congressman Wants to Pull W's Pants Down

I love it when the Reds keep on electing old men long long long after they are senile.  It makes for good politics and even better soundbites. Octogenarian Congressman Ralph Hall (R-TX) addressed an audience in McKinney, TX and had some choice words about our President:

"...we have a good president.  I pray for him.  Sometimes I'd like to pull down his britches and switch him, but I still love him."

Ooohhh...  Did he just say he wants to pull down W's britches and that he loves him?  I think ol' man Ralph wants a little sumpin' sumpin'.

Authors Note:  I forgot to Hat Tip PinkDome on this one. We LOVE PinkDome.  Go visit.
